Arriving by air
Due to its proximity to London, the venue is easy to reach if your journey involves travel by air.
London has 5 main international airports:
From Heathrow Airport
De Vere Beaumont Estates is only 10 miles from London Heathrow Airport, which is directly accessible from most locations worldwide. Upon arrival you can travel to Beaumont Estate by taxi or bus.
London Black Taxis taken from the taxi ranks at Heathrow are convenient, but expensive. You are advised to pre-book a private hire mini-cab, which may save you up to 50% of the cost of a Black Taxi. De Vere Beaumont Estate recommends Windsor Cars (Tel: +44-1753-677677, Email: firstname.lastname@example.org, cost about £35 per car). Alternatively, greentomatocars is Heathrow’s official transfer service (cost about £32 per car). Of course, there are numerous other local private hire mini-cab companies. You are advised to check the cost of your journey when you book.
For travel by bus the First Bus line 71 runs between Heathrow Terminal 5 (which can be reached from Terminal 1-3 via Heathrow Express free of charge) and Slough. For De Vere Beaumont Estate you will want to disembark at the Bells of Ouzeley Public House / Restaurant, Straight Road, Old Windsor. You can obtain the timetable by clicking here. To reach the De Vere Beaumont Estate from the Bells of Ouzeley: Walk along Ouseley Road (adjacent to the Bells of Ouzeley car park). After approx 120m, turn left onto Burfield Road and continue for a further 150m until the gates to De Vere Beaumont Estate are on your right where you can follow signs to reception.
If you are flying in to Gatwick, Luton or Stansted airport, we recommend taking National Express coaches to London Heathrow and continue your journey from there.
London City Airport is within the service area of Transport for London and has good connections with the London Underground. You can take the DLR line to Bank Station and then the Circle Line to Paddington. From here take a train to Slough Station, and proceed by bus 71 or taxi to Old Windsor. Alternatively from London City Airport take the DLR to Canning Town, change to the Jubilee line until Green Park and finally to the Piccadilly line for Heathrow Airport and continue your journey as described above.
Arrive by train
De Vere Beaumont Estate is within easy reach of three railway stations. Each is only a short taxi journey away, and each has a taxi rank outside.
Egham station is 3 miles (5 km) away and has connections to London Waterloo and Reading
